The No Surprises Act is aimed at eliminating surprise medical bills for patients. With regard to your work with North Sound Nourishment & Recovery, LLC, if you are not using your insurance to cover services, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs for nutrition therapy sessions or any other services related to your treatment with North Sound Nourishment & Recovery, LLC.
You can ask your healthcare provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service or session. Your healthcare provider can provide a Good Faith Estimate in writing prior to the service or session. Save a copy of the Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
